Fellowship Alumni Gathering (Closed)

Over the past 13 years, more than 1,000 organisers, campaigners and changemakers across Australia and Aotearoa have come through the Progress Fellowship. While the fellowship may only last a few months, the relationships, ideas and shared commitment can continue years beyond.

Join us for the inaugural gathering of the revitalised Progress Fellowship Alumni Network. This monthly online series is designed to help fellows reconnect, learn from one another and strengthen the relationships that sustain our movements. Each 60-minute session will feature practical insights from within the network, alongside plenty of space for conversation, reflection and peer support.

Whether you're looking to stay connected, share what you're working on, or simply spend an hour with people who understand the challenges and opportunities of creating social change, we'd love to see you there.

This gathering is closed to Fellowship Alumni only.

Anita Tang
Organising Director

Anita Tang is passionate about building people power to secure public policies that benefit the community. During her career, she’s explored many ways to make a difference – through direct service, policy development, consumer protection bodies, and Parliamentary Committees, and non-government policy advocacy. During her 12 years at Cancer Council NSW, she led the development of the grassroots advocacy approach that led to significant campaign wins on smoke-free legislation, cost of chemotherapy, access to treatment, and policies to protect people from known cancer risks. Currently, Anita is focused on increasing the impact of the advocacy work of NGOs by helping them unlock the potential of their grassroots supporters.

ACCESSIBILITY

We will work with you to ensure that you can fully participate in the gathering. If you are a successful applicant, we will ask you for any access needs during the on-boarding process.
